Just had a unique idea.. and one thing to add to the camping skill to make it desierable..
ICE Fishing !!!!!
Yes ice fishing ..
Use Camping skill to set up an Ice fishing camp and fishing hole, on any landmass where there is Ice.
- Once the camp is made a fisherman can target the hole to do some fishing..
- Once a fishing hole is depleted that location wont be avalible to build an Ice camp again until it has "Respawned" Similar method to ore / wood viens ..
- based on camping skill and if using a Mystical Ice Pick (More below) a fishing hole has a chance to be a Prized, Legendary or Fabled fishing hole.
- A Prized fishing hole would be uncommon, and when fished from would be similar to fishing from a mib resulting in chest a being pulled up, and the usual mobs some water eleys, etc could even add snow eleys etc .
- A Legendary fishing hole would be Rare , and when fished from would be similar to fishing from an ancient mib resulting in a chest being pulled up, and the usual mobs some water eleys, etc could even add snow eleys etc .
- A Fabled Fishing hole would be very rare and when fished from would be similar to fishing from a whirlpool resulting in a chest being pulled up, and the usual mobs some water eleys, etc could even add snow eleys , And a Boss mob would love to see an Ice Golme , Ice kracken , Elsa and Oona ....
Additional requirments to build a fishing hole, In addition to Camping skill a player would require an ice pick. Standar Ice picks would be a new tool craftable by tinkers , and is intended to be a simple craft similar to crafting blacksmith tongs for exsample. All ice picks would be 1 time use only and become consumed when an ice camp build is attempted..
In addition there would be Mystical Ice picks Not craftable , and a method to obtain them coulkd be simply new uncommon mob loot, fished up randomly from Ice Fishing Holes etc, Essentially these will function the same as a standard ice pick but would also give a chance for the Ice Fishing Camp to be a special camp (Prized, Legendary or Fabled) As outlined above.
Yeah thats just a breif summary of my idea.. im sure could use more work but yeah there you have it..
Imagine the expansion moniker you could have that would included this new system ,, "Hell Hath Frozen Over" ... "Winter is Comming" etc
