How often do I need to repair?

I'm about to training some dexies, mind you, I havn't played UO in years. How often do I need to repair my armor? I'll be wearing plate while im in shame banging on Earth Eles, then moving on the Air Eles, to train some resist. And if I remember correctly, won't GM blacksmiths break your armor sometimes while repairing it?

Use repair deeds from legendary smith... if you need some I can make you some.

how often you need to repair armor?

even if you dont have points in arms lore, use the skill on that armor piece you want the condition of and it will tell you just that.
(if its in good condition or not)

Or you could keep the actual HP window open and physically keep an eye on your AR value. (goes down with punishment)
Most people with full plate and heater prefer their AR over 100.

I go off my AR usually the shield is the one that needs repair. You can add your AR on the the top bar.

How often should you repair a weapon?

I usually repair weapons after ever hunt. Example hunting dragons for 1-2 hrs I’ll repair before I log. Not to sure if it needs to be repaired, but I can make repair deeds. Let me know if you need any.

anyone know if fighting with a damaged weapon reduces damage or hit rate?
