How is focal relic damage calculated?

"Focus - Every 60 seconds there is a chance to do (Level / 20) additional damage to the creature"

Taken from the wiki. I assume this is wrong because at level 10 you'd be doing an additional 1 damage. Seems a bit unreasonable.

So I thought, well maybe it's supposed to Level * 20. But I just got my focal relic today and noticed at level 1 I'm only doing 3-4 extra damage when focus activates.

Something is not right...

But THEN I thought, well maybe that is before resist is calculated... so I tried ebolting some mongbats, birds, chickens.... creatures that would have absolutely no resist, and my focus proc still only does 3-4 damage....

Now I know for sure something is not right... how is this extra damage supposed to be calculated?

@eppy please bestow your wisdom upon me

On an unrelated note, but since I've already summoned the mighty peppy, how long does the shadow disciple relic lower a targeted mob's resist for? Is it a fixed length or does it scale with level?

Level / 20 would be 50% additional damage at level 10. Which may not see like a lot but it adds up.

I believe it scales with level.

Ohhhhhh, it's a percent. But I'm also ******** because I was mathing with max level relic being 20. So 20/20 = 1 is what I was thinking. Dunno why I was thinking there are 20 levels. Just one of my many tard moments I suppose. Thank you powerful wizard.

Yes that would have been helpful if that word was in the wiki lol, although something like [(Level/20)*100]% would be more accurate ;]
