the guard system is completely different to previous server i come from
the server i was on had guards as a constant feature (I.e. npcs who walked about) controlled by whichever faction controlled the city
I.e. if a blue faction is in control of britain whenever a red player or enemy faction approached britain the guards attacked and whoever was attacking had to fight through the guards to get into the city, equivalently if a red faction owned britain then the guards attacked blue factions
here i just dont get it, i know there are guards but they only come out as a bolt of lightning when they see someone commit a crinimal act inside town boundaries with insta kill, but they dont trigger when 5 red minax are chasing a true britannian
basically
1) if guards dont activate when city is under attack what is the point of them?
2) what will cause them to activate
3) how does the non interfering guards make factions playable it would just be non stop chasing through the city surely? why is minax attacking true britannia not a criminal act?
4) are guards killable or are they immortal insta killers only
any other useful things you can tell me about how guards work particularly in relation to red and factions
