How do I move my Butler?

hey guys, went to customize my house and my butler moved to under the housesign. is there any way of moving him? I tried cutting him with an axe.. sadly he did not enjoy it :/

dang! I was hoping I wouldn't have to waste a staff members time in-game on such a minor thing . Maybe I'll drag my feet a bit before getting my butler back in his chair
