How can I contribute?

I've been thinking a lot about how to contribute to the server. I've played on player shards here and there ever since I quit UO back in Renaissance, but nothing ever held me for very long. UOF is the first server I've played on that I actually care about, and thus the only server that has ever held my attention. So I'd like to do something for UOF, but I don't know what. I can't donate money because I'm super poor, but one thing I typically have is time. I've considered creating content for the server, in the form of dungeons or quests, but I have no experience with that (though I'd be willing to learn, and I have someone that could probably help me). I would totally love to create some PVM encounters that have more of a modern feel with a bit of mechanics to them, other than just kiting mobs around or watching your pets kill them.

Anyway, those are big dreams, probably too big, though I'm still going to think about it. So instead I thought I would offer to help with the wiki. I once complained in IRC that there was both misinformation and a lack of information on the wiki, and then someone informed me that there is only 1 person that works on it. When I started playing on UOF, it took me a bit to get back into the hang of UO, but I soon realized how much I'd forgotten and even worse - how much of the game I've embarrassingly never even seen. I'm sure there are dozens and dozens of players just like me that come to UOF and realize the same things. And that is what the wiki is for. Not to mention the things I've never even heard of, for example Khaldun. The only reason I know the name is because someone mentioned it in IRC recently. And just the other day, I accidentally discovered this place called the Spider Cave. There are all these places to go and things to do that I don't know anything about, and I'll say it again - that is what the wiki is for.

I'm very grateful to all of the staff for all of their work, and that is why I'd like to help. If anyone can think of any other way to help, I'd love to hear it.

P.S.: Just to be clear, I'm not complaining about the wiki :p I know how time consuming it is, especially considering the editor doesn't have to work on the wiki at all, and would probably rather be doing more important things. I'm truly grateful!

one thing that helps is crafting. Kegs make the world go 'round and you can make a fortune too. Also town spellbooks, everyone always needs one for their alt at least, if you can sell these cheap and give them to new players, it goes a long way.

Also, try and sink your gold sometimes instead of giving it to other players for items. I personally have sank mill bills right off this shard at the gold sink vendor, and have always been rather pleasing to the eye whilst doing so. Sink wearables are the hottest, they say.
