How Bad do Spiders Really Suck???

powerscrolls dont sell anymore for spiders, i never EVER see any used except Stainless Steels spider.


So Uoforever Community..... how bad and expensive are these horrible creatures?

how much time did you waste?
how much gold did you waste?
do you still play the server after leveling this as your end game content? did it feel like i slap to the face?

this is to generalize how bad these are....





i just have a stage 2 spider that i dont think will ever be level, huge waste of time.

sooo does anyone use the spider? or let alone buy one? i dont think i have seen a new spider in a month+ easily.....

I don't have a spider so I can't feel your pain. Just got my meta dragon to level 2.

I don't understand your frustration with the spider, from what I hear, the fucking thing is a boss.

Scratch that, record has been set straight LOL. That sucks.

Spiders were introduced with a lot of hype, which probably raised expectations too much. The spider also seems really expensive, which probably inflates expectations further.

However, it seems more expensive than it is. The spider costs as much as other meta pets on a slot-per-slot-basis:

Dragon: (7.5M bloody, 8.5M QS, 4.5M molten, 1.5M nox, 3M stone, 2M egg)/3 = 9M
Steed: (7.5M bloody, 0.25M para, 0.75M golden, 3M stone, 8M egg) /2 = 9.75M
Spider: ((4 relics*200 PS*30K per PS), 3M stone, 10M egg)/4 = 9.25M

The spider is effectively the same price per slot as other pets, so we should expect a maxed-out spider to be more powerful than a maxed-out dragon (which it is) but less powerful than a steed and dragon together (which it is).

Spiders are about as powerful as they should be.

Lol, this is such a bad thread. Seems no one even knows wtf they are saying. Spider is great, it is defensive and hard to kill. It is just different than the dragons. Why cry about it? Both the spiders I have seen (Silky and Zelda J-Port) are beastly. I saw a lvl 6 spider show up at Coon last night, and in under 5 mins had 20k and 3rd place. I have also seen spiders tank Fafnir and other bosses without heals. The spider is bad ass, really nice to have 1 or 2 mixed in with all the dragons.

So @Sapperman and I had a kind of make shift test on this the other day, we were doing a level 6 tmap with my WW and level 6 meta with level 10 quicksilver, his spider was level 6 with level 8 brood relic, so we got a balron and ancient wyrm pop, and his spider killed the ancient wyrm at the exact same time my dragons killed the balron, with a quicksilver proc included. The spider is no fucking joke.

I'm liking the spider more as relics level. When brood and dessicate proc. The only bad thing I still can't get to grips with is having to be within 2 tiles for max dmg, it's like if I'm more than that it does half the dmg it's capable of.

It's just the pack instincts man, Sapper notified me of how they work here a few days ago, I personally just assumed they didn't work here since I never knew you had to be within 3 tiles of the spiders.

Fully aware, the dmg spread is just too big. Buff the base spider dmg a bit.
