With this new "three accounts" deal, its harder than ever to co-own people to your house. With 14 total characters not including the house owner's characters, and 15 total co-owner slots, you have the ability to co own one person that isn't yourself.
If you want to co own one of their alts? No.
I think that you should be able to co-own ACCOUNTS.
When you ban a person, it bans their account. No matter what character they pop in on, they are banned. I think it should work the same way with co-owning, possibly even friending (althought I've not reached my limit of friends if there is one).
New "house link" idea. I don't care much about the whole being able to teleport here and there to my houses. They make runes in runebooks for that.
However, I want to have owner privileges on all of my houses. It is annoying having to hop from one account to another, back and forth to do owner tasks. I design my houses with one main character usually, and I have to have a second one to come in and secure chests or release secured chests, etc. I did notice that the house-deco tool now works with co-owners. This pleases me.
How this would work: You would log your second character that owns your second house (or third, etc) and would have a new thing instead of "co-own", have "owner"... Or something? Basically, that *account* would now have full owner privileges over the house.
From customizing, to securing, to everything else.
Or maybe to avoid people giving other people their entire house, make it where all people on IP get this ability (except for people that are whitelisted extra accounts because they have other people living with them, they're fucked).
