Hiding and 120 Carp

So I've been considering dropping magery maybe to 60 and getting some hiding skill as well as attempt to get carp to 120. How much hiding would be good to have for the crafting area? I also realize I can just cast invis every now and then. Which would be better? Any suggestions?

Skip hiding on your crafter, waste of skill points. If you want to craft hidden in the CG either have enough magery to gate on your crafter or use an alt to open a gate one tile off your house steps and hide in your house with 0 skill.

The again I am told people run detect macros there often so you may have to gate out often or wait until you're cleae to not get caught hiding with the thieves ;)

heh, that was my line of thought as well. invis seems to be working fine and the regs used isnt alot of gold anyway. easily made with escorts. Is 120 Carp worth getting though?

Imo, hiding in the crafting area is pointless. Strong stacking technique and decoy trapped boxes are all you need to keep your stuff as safe as they're going to get.

Actually all that is needed is a blue beetle and one lockable chest with at least10 stones of food in it. Keep your working materials in the chest locked and your excess materials in the beetle that you are riding.

Anyone have a list/screenshot of the legendary crafting items?

Also halygon, can your macro pull materials like ingots out of your locked box or beetle pouch if you are mounted on the beetle?

Nope because I don't macro crafting afk. I get the materials into my locked box, then macro them away. Once used, I then restock my box and start over.

Imo, hiding is the way to go. I do not even bring a beetle. Strong hiding of material bags is crucial and the fact that I do not have much on me minimizes the risk at the expense of some time running back and forth from the bank. It is doable; naturally I recommend that you turn in bods at a different location.
