Definitely especially when you find a good crowd to play with in-game!
Very rampant PVP server so don't get too down if you die a few times from Player Killers!
Also once established a good place to hone your PvP abilities is the Duel Pits and can even create your own templates to practice with by typing [templates and applying the template.
These duel pits also provide free stock like reagents and potions to practice so if you need to learn how to defend yourself I suggest honing your skills there for free!
