Healing Skill in PvP

Hi all;

I'm new on this shard and I'd like to know what is the difference between healing with 80 skill and 100 skill in terms of PVP.

Will a 80 Healing skill fail too much in healing while being attacked compared to 100?


I also would like to know what is the benefit of 100% Hiding skill instead of 80.

with both skills the difference will be your success rate. I believe Hiding success is scaled directly with the skill -- so at 80 skill, you have an 80% chance to successfully hide.

With Healing, 80 (along with 80 anat) is the lowest possible skill to be able to successfully ressurrect another player. From 80-GM, the chance to actually succeed in ressurrecting is increased. For the healing side, having GM over 80 increases your success rate in general, it increases your success rate after being interrupted more times, and also increases the amount of damage you can actually heal. It behooves you to go to GM healing if you will be using it for PvP or PvM.

Im just getting into pvp, and the last few weeks it has been 5v5 and more, tons of fun. I will say that with gm healing on my heal mage I do survive way more often than I should. If they (whomever im fighting) dont sink just right, they cant keep me redlined. Combine this with quick heals and pots and im like a little healing pest that wont die. That being said, I got smoked a few times last night but it was still a lot of fun.
