having trouble buying from player vendors "target cannot be seen"

Hello - I have a weird issue that other people don't seem to have. I can only buy from a player run vendor if I'm standing right next to it.

If I try to buy from an upstairs house vendor, I do Vendor Buy, and then target the item I want, but then it says "target cannot be seen"

other people seem like they can buy from any vendor even if they're not next to it

any ideas what I can do to fix it?

Right click on the item u would like to purchase or shift click the item. It will give you an option "buy", select and viola!
