Has The Slayer Crafting Frequency Been Lowered?

I've gone through close to 10000 logs in the past couple days and only come up with about 10 slayers.

I used to craft about 3 times this many. Anyone else noticing a difference?

Also, side question: Do you have to be in the crafting guild area for the new woods to have magical properties? Or can I make them at home?

I don't think anything has changed. And you have to be in the crafters area to get slayer on what you craft, regardless of what materials you use.

You don't even have to be GM. GM just gives you a slightly higher chance for the slayer.

The biggest difference i've seen with slayer crafting with bows is the rate for Frostwood, Blood and heartwood appears significantly lower to all other wood types. beyond that, everything seems fairly normal.

Ok- ran some tests tonight - and yes, the rate of slayers has been significantly dropped. i've crafted maybe 30% of my normal rate.

I can second this i burned 9k ingots and got 3 slayers and 1 super slayer on kryss at 115 skill in crafter area.

Why did they lower chance so low..

They haven't been touched. I used 2200 ingots and got 25 slayers yesterday.

I have been getting slayers just fine, including from Runic Hammers (although I will say all the Runic slayers I have crafted have been Krysses, even though I craft them at 25% of what I normally stock).
