Hey everyone. First post on the forums but I need to get something off my chest I am pretty frustrated.Killing ettins near Minoc had taken my brother and I this weekend to save 18k to buy a small boat at a vendor near the cove. Fishing seemed awesome around Minoc while me and my brother were doing it we were getting nets and treasure maps like what we have read about on the forums. We were becoming true adventurers. We kept sailing north and we seen a far away island. Curiosity got too us so we went to check it out. We docked on the island and went in and seen it was some island of the serpent order or whatever. "oh well," I said, "lets go back and dry dock the boat and go to sleep". When we come back, there is this extremely massive ship up against it and pirates flooded the deck, storming at us with "Corp Por" with a name that I whole heartedly agreed with - something along the lines of "don't even try bro"
Now this is the frustration, not even the fact that I got pirated..
... But the fact was there were a few blues there trying to help me. One of them told me to repair the ship and gave me a ship repair deed. he said to use it on the tetherman, I did, then this god awful box full of gadgets appeared where I franticly screwed everything up, like playing perfection and you don't have enough time and all the gadgets pop up in your face. The blues left and I was stuck with this ship repair box and I didn't know what the hell to do. Now it is gone and i'm stuck on my gangplank. I didn't have enough money for the ransom so I clicked the 1 hour thing. I wish i had damn 3500... Boat is named the "notenoughforransom" now.
Three main questions.
1. Do I leave? is there any way for me to get the boat back? I still have the key can I recall back and repair it somehow?
2. Does anyone know how to use the ship repair deed? and could tell me so I don't waste the next one graciously given to me.
3. Any tips for me, I could use them. Suggestions welcomed.
Only got to use the boat for a couple hours, lol. Hopefully the next one will last a little longer. I will be buying another boat as soon as I can, could you please message me if you have a boat for a pity price. Thanks
