Getting BODs

I've seen a lot of people say they make sewing kits, and sell ingots to get BODs. Both of these are silly, if you have tinkering.

For tailor BODs, you're much off just buying the sewing kits from the vendor (3gp), and selling them back (1gp) for a loss of 2gp each. Making a sewing kit (2 iron = 16gp), and selling it for 1gp - a loss of 15gp- is nuts.

For smithing, you can sell ingots (worth 8gp) at 2gp each, losing 6 gold each time...... or you can make tongs (1 ingot), and sell them for 7gp each, losing 1 gold each time.

I realize its a small amount of money, but hey.. it adds up especially if you have multiple mules.

Would like to weigh in on this - I buy the sewing kits people already sold for 1g and resell for 1g therefore losing nothing.
As far as the smitty goes, usually there are several uosteamers about the forges making slayers throwing away bows/kryss's etc into the trash barrels, for a profit for 7-30g each weapon sold... In turn buys/crafts ingots to sell when none avail also the ingots are 3g resold for 2g ! Think I'm ahead 30k~ from those afk crafters using uosteamage

If there are slayer makers throwing kryss's into the trash can, they need their heads examined. You can smelt them and get most of the ingots back.....

agreed. Though bows are a different story. you can't break those things back down, and at least the smith will accept those.
