can i change the color of my sails after building the ship or does it have to be used only on the initial build? thanks guys

U cant just change the color off your sail... u can get dye tubs from pools in a few color, i know of blod red forever pink and charcoal. . But that will change the color on your whole boat. And u will not lose the old color either. You can change back to the old one if u used a new one

I am building a gargoyle galleon and the 200 cloth needed for the sails I think says it takes on the color of the material being used meaning that my sails will be the color of whichever bod cloth I use. So would that be changeable later?

Yes, but only to the select few colors that come out as rares from the whirlpools.

The color of the sail is static regardless of what dye you add to a galleon, the dye and cloth you use will only effect the wood/hull of the boat.
