Functional Cannon Broken?

So we made a cannon only to find out that it cant inflict dmg to mobs. I wanted to know if it does dmg to ships?

Also if it doesnt do dmg to anything can we change that or the name? Since a dmg free cannon is not functional since the function of a cannon is to inflict dmg.

We just built it to defend our mall against attackers and ships but its a bummer to spend 400k to do no dmg.

Any insight is appreciated.

I've never actually tried my cannon but I know there were things messed up about them. I don't think they were meant to be super awesome to begin with but they should function at least halfway reasonably.
