Features removed from UO Forever?

Hi all,

I stumbled across an AMA from the shard owner on reddit while looking for some advice on macros and noticed in the thread that inscription bonus for magery was not active on this shard?

As a shard newbie who's just finished a 6GM Mage and is about to add a 7th skill (was actually going to start inscript today) how does one find what bonuses and such have been removed?

the wiki here is pretty good, thats what i looked at.. also, you should do crafting skils before others since they gm quicker with less total skill points

This is not true. Don't listen to this advice. @Dupster
i gmed 2 scribe two days ago, one at max skill points before i started and one with 50 scribe and 50 smithy and 20 mining. started at the same time and the newb char was done HOURS before and for less than HALF the cost.. go eat a dick

you need GM scribe and GM magery for any benefit.

at both GMs you will get 15 circles of reflect instead of 8.

theres no damage bonus for scribes here.

Good great, but you're wrong. I'm sorry. There is no penalty / slower gaining skills as you get closer to the 700.00 skill cap. This doesn't apply to just crafting skills but all skills. There is no penalty. You're wrong.

I have seen staff confirm this on the forums, can't find the post tho.

Satiation levels and being in a dungeon affect skill gains.

That been said, the older char wasn't probably fed or hydrated properly.

Hunger and Thirst have no effect on anything. never did on OSI and doesn't on RunUO unless its been changed and added as a feature.

Yes they do, this is a customized shard you silly goose. Dono vendors didn't give free stuff to GM Beggars on OSI either.

Great sample size.

I trained wrestling on 2 characters. One GMd an hour earlier than the other. The one that GMd first was wearing all pink clothing where as the slower skill gaining character was naked. It's official, pink clothing increases skill gain. Add it to the wiki!

Unlike other shards, skill gain on UOF does not slow down as you get closer to the skill cap. You can be at 700 total skills and swap out skills as you wish with no penalty - it will always be like training a skill when not at the cap.

Drinking and eating have a direct impact on skill gain, but not on success chance or anything else.

@SomeGuy What was that about "eating a dick"?
