I think it would benefit the factions system if the hero/evil ethy steeds were exempt from the mount fatigue. Reason being is that factioners would then have incentive to grind silver so they can afford traps. Factions is a war, there should be adaquate incentive to fight a war. And because there's item based pvp in factions now like wands, i guess it fits.
So imo, keep the fatigue, exempt hero/evil steeds.
Hanes you don't even faction bruh but i respect your opinion. Its not a bad idea, i wish they would apply this to war horses as well. Make it so war horses don't run out of stam either, that way people are fighting for control of towns so they can place faction horse vendors. Yep still no wands or bolas i think they put it on the back burner, like booty island dungeon.
It makes no sense i can run 10x longer on an ethy than i can on a beetle or horse.
I agree @GluttonySDS, they said they were going to fix this too.
Well I wouldn't jump to conclusions here. Both of these are major developments that I'm sure are difficult or time consuming to code or code properly.
Think about it, for wands they have to make sure they only work on faction targets, they have to figure out how much damage they either heal or deal, they have to balance it out with the wide variety of templates that are viable on this shard.
And then with booty, they'll probably put in all the maps first, then they have to figure out what mobs to put in, where they go, how much gold they drop, what the timers are, and then design the dungeon boss and balance it all out for mountless pvp for the risks vs reward.
PLUS on top of that they've even announced a future revamp of the faction system, trying tirelessly to make it work for a group of players who basically only join factions because they can't afford anything nicer than the free shroud you get for joining. It's a lot of work and what makes it even harder is the lack of constructive posts on the forums here and constant derailing of suggestions.
And all the while they have to make sure that there's no bugs to exploit. One wrong move with any of this, especially if someone dies in game (heaven forbid), will undoubtedly result in pages and pages of tears and insults towards staff so I don't blame them for taking their time. I personally like what's in the works and appreciate that there's even anything in the works at all. Not saying you don't, or anything, but let's not be too hasty. Haste makes waste amirite?
