Elemental ban not working properly?

I was fighting a greater blood elemental Paragon with an elemental ban katana, and I wouldn't get the damage bonus. The katana works fine on every other elemental I've tried, but didn't work on the greater blood. Do you think you can fix this?

Blood has there own slayers. i dont know if the elemental is SUPPOSED to work, but the blood drinking slayers DO work.

I think Elemental Ban works on bloods, but I believe it doesn't on greater bloods. The reason being is because greater bloods are a custom mob, and maybe their mob type wasn't clearly or correctly defined as an elemental, hence the issue.
