Dumb question. How do I rename a pet?

Left click on the pet, hold down the mouse button and drag away. You should get a name bar with the pets name in a purple font. You can click the name and a typing cursor will pop up. If you already have their name bar up from when you were taming them, you need to pull it from them again to make the name editable.

Keep in mind if you delete the spaces in a name you can't re-add them. So if you want to rename "a polar bear" to "a polar goon" you'd have to make sure not to delete the spaces. Otherwise it will just be "apolargoon". Hope this helps.

how do you keep spaces in pet names? it always say name is not acceptable...

To keep the spaces u need to save them from the original name. so if its " A Dragon" you only have one to play with if its " A Dragon Whelping" or w/e it is you have two
