Do i need lore to gain taming?

I have 100.8 taming, and i wanted to drop lore and eval so i can dungeon tame. If i drop lore to 0, will i still be able to gain with taming?

You "should" be able to yes...I believe Lore is just good for how well you can control a creature and also in the math for Vet somehow...but of course I was 115 lore around the time I GM'd Taming so not really sure 100%.

i always just run 99.9 lore while training taming

Yes u will gain, i did all my taming at 0 lore
