Dexxer relics becoming more rare?

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed a "shortage" of dexxer relics? It seems like a lot less are going up in the selling section of the forums. Are they actually dropping less??

Even this morning, I'm please to see a new relic up for sale but 3M sb for a recoil??? I mean just a few month ago you could easily get one for less than a mil. Same with most other defence relics.

What's going on?

TBH I think it's just that people have seen the value in both Meta dexxer builds. This combined with buffs such as the arms lore change (was this fixed yet?) make them more desirable. Because of this more are being used and sold within guild.

Supply and demand. More dexers and a dip in drops can spike the market pretty quick. Same goes when the RNG starts dropping a bunch in short succession.

Agree with Zodius, people are just starting to see the value of certain relics, also double exp just ended so you can safely assume a lot of the relics were thrown onto the players dexxer pretty much immediately or put into savings until the slot is open.

Drops are so low, and demand so high, sales are not often done outside of guild. I have only ever gotten 2 relic drops, and I used both of them for myself. Stealth archer with berserker talisman WTF

recoil was at 1-2m and probably worth 2-3m now
leech was always around 2m and now up to 2-2.5m
quench was at 4m but now down to around 3m
remedy was 2m and now up to 3-3.5m


and some will overpay now because they are desperate to get one

As far as I can tell, Arms Lore got a slight nerf from its godly status. Been trying to do RDA crystals with no luck. Turned in 29. Got nothing. Turned in everything from 1-12 quite a few times and also nothing. Just bad luck?

It's getting out of hand. As a casual player I can't even afford most relics and the prices just keep going up. I've turned in several hundred crystals and killed the arch daemon over 100 times with no luck.

I don't think that drop rates need to be adjusted if that's what you're alluding too. The good relics are rare drops and hard to get and they should be.

Meta dexxers were purposely built to be long-term builds that take a while to max out - and they are. I started my meta dexxer shortly after they first came out and I'm still not 10/10 (so close tho!). I got lucky with a double strike drop on arch demon but had to pay for my phase shift and tread. I've done arch demon easily 250+ times and only ever got that one double strike relic. I know others who have done arch demon 40-50 times and got 3 relics. It's frustrating for sure but random.

Lastly, it's economics 101 - supply is low and demand is high. Those who have the money will pay more to finally get that tread or double strike because they don't go up for sale very often. When one is posted people bid it up so prices continually go up.

The issue is that the meta Dexter relics are now in line gold wise with tamer relics. I didn't make a tamer because I can't devote that much time. Tamers are superior to meta dexxers, so why should they be near the same level when it comes to drop rates and prices etc
