Crash Course in crashing.

Yea so im not understanding why i keep crashing. happened a few days ago and i literally lost a full set of repond/exorcism invul/indestructable slayer armor and a vanq/exeedingly accurate warfork. i was pissed.Hopped on TS and learned that everyone crashed it wsnt just me. i realize sometimes i crash cus im on an older comp or water but it seems like its been alot more recent lately, if ne one has any tips that i could use like adjusting computer in some way or ne thing at all pls let me know. i usually just restart if i crash and come back and i also do Resynch client macro in razor as well to help with lag. today i pinged 6568.8 at one point. that is just crazy imo lol. ne ways im not trying to sit here and complain im just more trying to find solutions.. i rlly like this shard and rlly like the staff as well for working so hard. i just trying to figure out how to make this crashing stop if theres ne thing i can do from my end can sumone let me know. ty for your time

We've been under DoS attacks for weeks now, we are working on it, but whoever is attacking us has been extremely persistent.
We will still work on it as they keep attacking, we are mitigating and also taking some other routes of defending ourselves. We really appreciate your patience and we will be doing another bonus weekend in the near future.

ohh wow thnx for responding shane i was thinking it had more to do with my computer at first lol. it is kinda old. ok so its DoS attacks. Is that where theres ppl logging on and off a bunch to lag server... or wat exactly is that. i know when i was admin on another shard they had a Log you could look in to see past Events going on in shard. but i am not exactly sure if that would help im sure u and your staff are alot more knowledgable than i about these things. ne ways. Thnx for all the Work u do for the shard shane and Staff!!

Unfortunately it's not something we can just throw a bunch of money at to fix either, each attack has to be mitigated and it takes a bit of time. It's not our server, our host is doing a decent job at mitigating.
Even pokemon go servers go down once a day pretty much cause of DoS attacks and they profit what? 3 million per day.

It's unfortunate but i can assure you guys we are working hard, every single DoS we are talking to the host and taking some other alleys of defending ourselves.

just don't do double gold drop, it was a really BAD thing imho. I don't remember if we ever had any double gold drop for a few days.

I did too much money so easy in no time... no no no! absolutely no!

ahh right on well its much appreciated. and Steve O i think the double gold was to make up for the guild that we would have normally aquired over the time that we lost from ddos attacks plus the time we were in game for the weekend adds up to about usual. like i farm usually 200k a day sumtimes more sometimes less i was doubling that this weekend but then i again i missed several whole days or chunks of days due to lag. i think its fair. just my opinion but, opions are like assholes everyone has one some of em stink more than others haha. ne ways have a good day !

A lot less gold has been farmed because of the DDoS. I don't think you have much to worry about.
