I was in the same boat as you guys until yesterday. It's REAL easy to get lp up on this server.
Just make a char with 50 tinker 50 carp or train those skills off an npc. Make a few boxes (you only need one but it's good to have a backup in case you get pked). Make lockpicks until you have 70 tinkering. Make some more boxes.
Now you just take the lockpicks and macro locking the box and then picking the lock. I did this hidden in a dungeon. I got to 91 lockpicking off the 70 tinkering boxes and it took basically no effort. Now I open my own paragon boxes.

I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure it's less than 91.

Im pretty sure its more than 91. Im at 95-ish and have a hard time picking them.
Lvls 5/6 require GM from what I have been told, so it makes sense that you need more than 90 for lvl 4

You only need GM lockpicking for lvl 6 paragon chests. You can do everything else with 95 I think (even level 6 t-map chests I believe).

Thx for clearing that up. Ive heard so many different things since ive started lockpicking. Wasnt even trying 5's because i didnt think I could pick em yet.

I mean it might take you ton of tries though on those chests (and a lot of lockpicks). I still fail picking/break picks even at GM, so I don't know the exact success/failure rates for different level chests vs skill levels. That would be sweet if someone took the time to do that, but it would be a pain. Not it.
