Color of paragon chest

Does it matter what type of monster they drop from or is the color the desired feature?

From what i understand i believe the color is just random, Ive gotten all sorts of colord chest from earth ele paragons (not the christmas mobs).

as for paragon chests true gold, white and unhued (original image) are rare or uncommon versions and are random on any paragon spawn , no spawn has a better chance to produce any specific color with the exception of spirit (event) paragons which will produce only 1 of possibly 2 event related colored chests .

Thank you for the input^^. So the color determines the sell value? anyone have a list of what the different colors go for?

the common chests average around 500g each might get more for shadow or black chests .
White and unhued chests you can get mabey 5k for
True gold about 50k or more its been forever since ive seen one. just be sure not to get it confused with the standard gold chests .
