My goal is to one day own a 30x30 that I make look like a castle without all the useless passageways and stairs that lead to little storage rooms.

This is true, a safe recall spot and the ability to have personal spawn are nice perks. Though, a fully developed 30x30 just screams status and gold to burn. I cringe every time I am running around and find a large empty dirt plot that looks like it is just taking up space. If you aren't going to use it, let someone else. This isn't back-in-the-day OSI where there was a real money market for housing.

Although I guess this is all moot as I have yet to come across a spot large enough to place a castle, let alone a 30x30 (although there might be). I'd probably have to win the next ageless raffle at this point.

30x30 for sure. We recently got one for the guild house and it fits everyone and their pets just fine. Castles are a pain to navigate and offer little benefit by having a courtyard imo.

Seriously, aren't the hallways like 2 squares wide along the outside edge AND require you to go up stairs to get to (or am I thinking of the Keep).

I'd rather slap charles murphy's law square across the face and have safe recall any day. Yall won't be so in love with your 30x30s when PKs stun you beside the teleporter and have their way with your bag of decorations. Nobody's gonna fuck my couch.

Mine only cost me the 2m castle placement plus 10m 30x30 placement and 1.2m to build it. Also mine has a roof. Plus it doesn't look like hammered dog shit
