Champ Spawn Reward Eligibility

Some things i wanted to clarify:

5k min score, within 50 tiles of boss death. Are there any other requirements to be eligible? Do I need to physically damage the boss, or can I tear up spawn, and hide within boss range? I did a few over the weekend, even racked up 4th place on one, but I did no damage to the boss and was hidden on screen when he died, but no rewards. RNG or did I mess up? Thanks.

Thanks, that's what I figured, but you had to hit the boss in the original so I wanted to be sure!

not sure about relic so u may wana give the boss 1 or 2 hits just to cover your ass
