Cannot remove clothing/items from own vendor

I go to remove clothing and it disappears on my screen but stays on everyone elses, I log out and back in again and the clothing is back on the vendor. Also, just today I went to reprice things on my vendor but when attempting to drag merchandise off of the vendor into my pack it says "you cannot pick that up" What gives?

you need to be within 2 tiles of your vendor to access its clothing and warez, my good man!
