Cannot move rune book

I carry multiple rune books in my pack and I noticed when I have one open and I attempt to move a different rune book I get the message "you cannot pick that up". I have to close whichever rune book I have open in order to move them.

It's been like this for as long as I can remember. Doesn't make sense though lol

I remember when I first found out about it a couple years back. I was at an idoc with one other person, it was about to fall and the idoc had a big runebook collection which I had hoped to grab to compliment my guild'a rune library. Well that other person showed up so I had my runebook open to gate in guilders if needed. Well the house fell and I quickly tried to grab runebooks but couldn't!! I thought I was rubber banding so I kept trying. Well needless to say, by the time I figured it out only two runebooks were not looted by that other guy. Hard lesson...
