Hello, I was thinking about purchasing an already planted home from other players, however, I've always been a bit concerned about it due to thievery. Are there any tips for home transactions? Do I have to go to the house with my check in my inventory to purchase an already planted house from someone else? Or is there another way?

You'll get this prompt when someone is trading you a house:
Followed by a trading window with them offering a blue deed:
When you click the deed it will show the name of the house sign and the coordinates of the house sign - which you can verify with either Razor Positioning System or the UO map through UO Steam.
This is where you'll want to trade what you're offering for the house, don't trade if that blue deed isn't in the window!
You will have to go to the house in-game.
