Bugged Skill Gain

I have 109.5 tailoring(real and shown), and have used skill scrolls for some of my skill gain.

When I am using the tailoring skill, I will get a decrease in another skill that I have turned down, but no corresponding gain in tailoring. I know these are the instances I should be gaining in tailoring, but I don't get a gain... effectively stuck at 109.5 tailoring.

What happened is your total skill cap raised when you at your PS and you gained at no cost to your other skills.

If you eat a 105 your cap increases to 705, 110 = 710, 115 = 715, and 120 = 120. Stops at 120.

So, I have eaten a 105 BS and a 110 tailor on this char... I have 710.3 total real skill right now. Once I drop down to 710, then I will start to see tailor gains again?

To answer my own question, in case anyone else ran into this problem. Yes that did work. I just turned magery(because this guy has low magery and is easy to get skill gain) to up, casted until I dropped down to 710, and then started gaining in skill.
