Brit bank Gaters!!!

Can we please clean up Brit and the AFK vendor gaters? they spam too much and block walking spaces. Maybe designate where they should be or charge a fee to advertise in town. thank youl

- Find the tab that lets you put people on an "ignore list".
- Put people on ignore list.

Filter only removes the spam not the traffic or the mess..
Specific vendor gate area would be a great way to resolve this, +1.
If not a designated area, then make a no gate thoroughfare few tiles wide off every wall of bank so people can get through, this is a huge nuisance, easily solved.

No ones saying get rid of em, just add some order to the chaos.. kinda how the dono vendors are there and available but also orderly and off to the side :-D

You know, there are other less chaotic banks available. Try Occlo, Vesper, Trinsic, Minoc...take your pick, they're all dead!
The game shouldnt be tweaked because people have a problem with spam and crowding but won't use other banks :/

I think the main reason theyre randomly spaced is an attempt to not overlap spam messages, which ends up happening anyhow.. thats the only downside to putting em all in one place, the overlap..

Could go to other banks but WBB is the spot like you say, not to mention the only bank with special server vendors and poker.. not to mention these vendors we're talking about..

I do believe tho, they could shorten there "typed message" some. I dont need and entire run down on whats on your vendor. Be smarter with the advertised message please thank you!

a full textblock or 3, of whats on your vendor is completely unnecessary.
If you're going to spam all that it needs to be spaced out several minutes, not 30 seconds.

i agree nothing worse than a empty WBB if a young player makes a toon walks to bank and its dead he thinks well fuck this and logs off.

No one is saying get rid of these people, or move them offscreen.. just that its impossible to get by when theres no rhyme or reason to where these gate popping spam vendors stand.. maybe have a couple long stages on the west and south side, specifically for afk vendor gaters.
Bank just as busy, no one goes anywhere excpet a few tiles in an organized direction. And traffic can actually move through. New players can see how busy UoF is AND actually move around WBB, maybe noticing the dono vendor a little easier? ;-)

or you could hold down your right mouse button and walk/run to the NE side of the bank.

Move yaself off screen and leave vendor gates alone

I think the point we're making is that they're not a big deal. Nothing should be done because you have alternative options if they're that big of an inconvenience.

But instead of using another bank, or putting them on ignore....you want them herded into a corral....so you can walk with your path unobstructed....and not see their messages...

The afore mentioned things that you could do, don't waste Shane's time....
