HTRS Casino proudly presents our 2nd FREE entry to our new Blackjack Tournament!!!
Last week’s free entry tournament was a huge success, so we’re bringing it back, but better!
Winner of this Blackjack tournament will receive 250K + a free entry to play a game of the famous “DEAL OR NO DEAL” gameshow. With a chance to win 1 Million gold, completely free!! (see below for details, minor changes from last week).
What is a Blackjack tournament you ask? When you play in a blackjack tournament, you are competing against other players rather than the casino dealer. You and your opponents start with the same bankroll and play 5 hands. The top two players with the most chips at the end of the round (after 5 hands) wins and advances to play other table winners.
You don’t need to “win” a lot of chips to advance/win in a tournament. For example, suppose you have a starting bankroll of 5,000 chips and end up with only 500 chips at the end of 5 hands. If that is more than your fellow opponents, you will advance/win. Therefore, in tournament play you not only have to play your cards against a dealer’s up-card but you have to keep an eye on your opponents’ bankroll so you know if you are ahead or behind in chip count as the round progresses.
The following table compares what you already know – playing blackjack – to what you might not know – playing blackjack in a tournament.
In this tournament, 18 players will play double deck Blackjack with standard rules – if you’re wondering how the heck can you play blackjack in UOF, you’re missing out.. see official thread for more details on the game and many more. (Deal or NO Deal game details can be found on official thread as well).

The event will be held on “Wednesday 5/2, 10PM EST” at the NEW HTRS Casino (Gates from West Brit Bank will be available). The winner of this tournament wins 250K gold AND a free entry to the DEAL or NO DEAL game with a max prize of 1 million gold. (Game is to be played shortly after the tournament).
How do I participate? Simply show up at the casino at 10PM EST, 18 players will be randomly selected so be sure you’re early if you’d like to participate. (Free entry)
How will the game be played out? The 18 lucky players will be separated to 3 groups, 6 players per group, the first group will play 5 hands of blackjack, the top two players with the most chips at the end of 5 hands will be the winner of that group. The 2 winners of each group will play another 10 hands to determine the winner.
How long will this event take? This event is the first of many, we anticipate that it will take approx. 1 – 1.5 hours.
What if I lose? A player loses when he/she runs out of chips.
PK/Stealing within the Casino will not be tolerated (see official thread for details). A lifetime ban to the Casino will be given.
A special handout will be given at the end of the event to 1 of the players who participated and lost. TBA near the end of event.
Keep in mind- This is the second of many FREE events held by the HTRS Casino (Player ran). A good attitude and demeanor will go a long way.
