Armour Patches - Can we make these toggle ON/OFF

So, These new armour patches are nice; however, I added on to my favorite robe before I started my dexer talisman, and now cannot wear due to the AR negative bonus when levelling a dexer talisman. It would be nice to be able to toggle the AR bonus, ON/OFF, much like the sadals layer property.
