Account wide pack in bank chest

I would like to suggest a 1 bag/backpack/container in a bank box that all characters on an account can access.

For players that don't have another account, another computer or just can't run two instances of UO at a time, this would be a great addition.

Example: I currently have a warrior and a blacksmith characters. For my warrior to be able to put his gear in that account wide container, then log in my blacksmith to conduct repairs, etc, would be a great help. Blacksmith would put gear back into container when done, warrior logs back in, gets his gear and is good to go. Could also help with gold transfer between characters along with items found in the world.

I hope this is agreeable with the Devs and the player base. Even if we would get a container like this for making a donation of any amount of $5.00 or more, then that container would be added to our bank chests.

And yet at it's core, it's not a bad suggestion, regardless of their being workarounds and what PC's some people SHOULD have.. The only time this is really an issue is when you first start the game, if you are not a power gamer, and like to try different things, you'll have 3 chars going, and wanting to move stuff between them and can't.. You haven't farmed up enough to buy your first house, in many cases may not even be thinking of a house.. you are still trying the game to see if you like it.. I dropped back checks on the ground, in the inn, and used circle of transparency to pick them up when I first started, was a pain.. especially if someone grabbed all the gold I'd ever owned..

A bag in the bank, purchase-able from the banker, for 20k, wouldn't be a bad solution - or even given for free. It doesn't break the game for anyone else in any way. It's even been suggested in the past being able to link a bag to your bank, so you can have a direct link to your house.. I don't agree with going that far, so you'd have to make sure the bag couldn't be removed from your bank once bought.

The number of times both here and OSI that I've dropped a small bag/box of goodies inside an inn/ behind a tree and frantically tried to log out and back in on a different toon......praying to jeebus that no one noticed my actions haha!

When you are first starting out it is a right pain! I'm all for this idea :)

Ay this is true......but i was (and still am) pretty noobish so didn't occur to soread my characters out or make like a mule account to act as three middle person :p plus screw paying an extra £10 a month on osi for that lol!
