So I have NO idea how this would be programmed, or if it's even possible, but we all know how hard it is to be constantly searching for that one elusive item that either nobody seems to have or is just too damn difficult to find in enough of a quantity... Animal Taming +1 SSs anyone?
We all know vendors have the ability to SELL, but why can't we have vendors with the ability to BUY?
Instead of the standard vendor just selling goods out of its pack, a "reverse vendor" would open up a gump window with the items that the vendor-- or, in reality, the player who owns it-- is buying. He could be looking for five (5) Animal Taming +1 SSs and some donation coins @ 160gp per.
It could look roughly something like this:
Basically a menu would show the items the vendor is buying. The price could be customized by the player who owns the vendor and items can be selected either by targeting or through an item list, and a button would allow the person viewing the vendor to target the item desired and sell it to the vendor. The vendor owner could now go collect their items.
This would be a pretty slick dono item and I, for one, would definitely donate to get it!
