I like 2D but there is no world map to show me where to go. For example, I am an escort and need to go to a town. How can I know how to get there without a freaking map large enough to show me? Am I missing something here?

Im not sure if this a troll post or what but if you go to Razor or Steam on the Generals tab theres an option for a map.. you could look into purchasing a runebook with all the towns marked in it and you wouldnt have to worry about uh.. walking.. i guess.

You can buy world maps from the local town cartographer shop.

You can also use rune libraries to get around - which is what most newer players do when starting out - especially with escort missions.
