Cast reveal, bring up the purchase verification window, start casting recall, when recall is about ready to go off, buy item, and then instantly recall out by targeting your rune book.

But, it's his right to sell it off a vendor, I wouldn't do it though without taking to the safe trading area. It's 10 mill ffs lol

if that happens then 10 mill is the price you pay for trying to get endgame items before learning how to use the tracking skill.

I just tested this by recalling to a destination in my runebook, and when the recall was about to go off, I bought an item. It was not half a second, but maybe 100ms. With a macro you could get it down to less than 50ms.
You could also buy it on your 115 tamer and have a loop macro going that opens up the PS to be used instantly. You'd have to set the target by targeting the PS on the vendor, but it should also only take less than 50ms to use the scroll, depending on latency. And do this after casting invis on yourself.
But, you're right that it is risky to buy high priced items on vendors. You can make the purchase much less risky, though.

Unnecessary risk, when he can leave it in his bank and trade it in a thief proof zone, I'd say power has just as many thieves there trying to steal it back as any other guild
Power has like 1 thief. They have sold a good 5 QS and several 120 Tames at that vendor house. You're probably one of the thieves waiting and hoping he takes it off.
A lot of the guild are Australian/euros so vendors are needed to transact with the yanks.

It isn't hard to run up 10 screens away with invis pre-casted, click yourself, buy then bolt with scroll in your hand and recall a few screens away.
I bought my blaze daemon for 12m from a vendor, and i've seen countless people buy relics/120 tames from my vendor.
