Ive always wondered, other than a few extra ingots, why do people spend skill points on this? Wouldnt they be better spent elsewhere? Like anywhere else? The nodes are what they are. Its not like there are more valorite nodes in the world because of your skill level. Just curious.

120 mining you can pull more at one time, so spending less time at 1 node and moving to the next will produce more ore per hour. also i believe you can pull more of the rare ore out and less of the iron. also i think you need 120 mining to mine the crystals at RDAS, and you also lose less ore while smelting ore into ingots, less metal loss
