guild

A friend and I have returned to UO:F. We haven't played since 2014 and in a few moments online last night was able to pick up some changes have definitely happened on the server. We're looking to find a good all around guild with decent size and helpful people. I have 115/115 taming/lore...

When i try to type in chat nothing shows up on my screen but only in the journal. This only happens on of my toons, the other toon works fine when i use the guild char. Can someone help me fix this pls?
