Back in the day dragons were actually hard to control. Maybe they changed that over the years but early on, they would routinely not listen to you.

Use detect hidden instead of tracking. Seems like a non-issue to me.

You say it like you HAVE to have 140 taming. You don't. I just hope at 140 taming they let you ride your dragon and still have it firebreathe while you're riding it.

As an avid dungeon crawler, I would say no to a private little RDA. But, I like this idea if it were just a t-map leading you to a dungeon location. Gotta clear out the spawn, dig the map up and deal with more spawn, etc. I think that would be simple enough that it could be implemented...

On this shard, taming is the carrot on the end of the stick. It makes perfect sense that they would devote time and engery in evolving taming
