I believe it only matters that there is a completed transaction selling to the NPC, so it shouldn't matter what. I usually get a BOD after 2 or 3 rounds of selling 4 to 7 sewing kits, but last night it took about 30 to 40 for both my BOD collectors. I think it is just the luck of the draw there.
Okay, so I am stuck at 80.6 now. I've tried the jeweler in Britain for hours and no gains. About to head to Yew Abby, but I didn't get gains there at like 73. Any advise?? I'd hate to have to go back to raising tinkering again just to get high enough to have a chance at static dungeon chests.
You could forget magery if your just wanting to recall - you can just buy a runebook and recall scrolls for that. 0 magery required.
There's my first piece of advice. Then with 80/80/80 you could roll with better resist.
Thanks so much! Ill try the Abbey tonight. Tinkering advise was good too, and got me to 65 pretty quick, although its tedious. Helped with lockpicking also, up to 85.
When logging off while in disguise, my character has a different name. When logging back in, all macros are set to default, instead of the usual ones I have set up for that character. Is there any way to fix this, or to reset the default macros to the ones I want?
Any point in 50/50ing these skills?? How effective is 50 detect Hidden?? And can you tell if a thief is perma-grey with 50 forensic evaluation on this shard??
Try looking at the default firewall settings. Sounds like a firewall is keeping you out. Not sure if routers these days come with features like that, but it would be my first guess.
