Actually I do group. My guildmate also switched to nox mage, but with stun-punch instead of alchemy, like I did. I solo, too, but either way, I don't see how your post is relevant? Saying that with respect since you're reputedly a good PvPer.
I'm only saying that the nox mage changes really...
Hi!
1.) I recently switched my dexxer alch poison to a nox alchy mage and find it a lot weaker. I'm making a serious suggestion to change the spell Cure to behave exactly as a greater cure potion, with an 80% chance of curing deadly poison.
2.) The death cam: Add a 10-15 minute delay to the...
Hi. I have two characters complete and built for PvP. I'm looking for a fun PvM template to create, because all the gold I've made to create my two templates has been VERY boring, and to continue my career as a high-risk PvPer (with I'm sure negative profits) I really don't want to spend the...
The only problem, or difference between this and an NPC is an NPC could be scripted to charge depending on the NPC, while a deed would be pay once, res anything. That's the advantage of the NPC, shard-economy and balance-wise.
I am neither a tamer nor do I own any special pets. But this seems to be a nuissance to both player pet-owners and vets on the shard. It's not like anyone who's willing to res a pet is charging for it (I doubt?). The chance to say "I wish to resurrect my pet" to an animal trainer NPC, with cost...
I played on a PvP
I played on a free server with no reagent requirements. It was non-stop action since weapons, armor, and skills were given away, too. It was a PvP server. That server died pretty quickly.
I know your idea isn't anywhere near as extreme as this. The only point I'm trying to...
A blessed piece of clothing doesn't affect UO gameplay at all, while it adds a decent money sink. A good money sink that doesn't affect gameplay is a good thing. No one (except probably you) cares about some guy's blessed white robe. You pretty much ignored the point of my post,. again. Trammel...
I think you need a lesson in basic economics if you think it would benefit scribes. Demand would go up, but so would supply. We both know it would never happen here, anyway. And it seems like you're just trolling at this point instead of addressing the bigger issue. You also haven't responded to...
Trammel is full protection against getting PKed, any shard implementation that works towards that goal would be Trammelish. It's not an inappropriate use of the made up word. Really, what "similar" trammel ideas have been implemented here? I see an overwhelming amount of posts complaining about...
Why? What would that add to the game? Even PKs wouldn't have a use for tons of full spellbooks. Theoretically, if this were to happen, the value of full spellbooks would go way down, but this really just hurts scribers instead of rewarding anyone with anything.
I don't shy away from way out...
Terrible idea. There's just no reason for it other than to reduce PK reward, and that just leads down a slippery slope to more trammelish ideas, doesn't it? There are already blessed runebooks. If you die, find the nearest healer and runebook your way to a bank or house for more reagents...
