I like the new rewards and I don't mind a challenge. But as it is, you can only really do them comfortably with 3 tamers (preferably with metas). They're not really solo-able anymore for your average fisher, which is a shame cause they are fun. I personally don't bother with them anymore because...
Found this during the Moonglow invasion.
It's a blaze statuette that looks like a ghoul but it has the name and sound of a crocodile.
What would it be worth? Any potential buyers?
Thanks!
All creatures have a "home" location (typically at the location of their spawner). When a creature is too far away from its home location, it tries to walk there. When walking, they don't use any smart pathing algorithm, so they can get stuck on shorelines or mountains.
It could be that the...
This rule:
"Players may not use TWO OR MORE clients at the same time to PvP." (http://www.uoforever.com/rules.php),
states that I cannot pvp with more than one player at the same time. As Hanes stated, I only deal damage with Davida Valtieri, not with my scout. While I am attacking you on...
It makes sense that attacking a galleon on a small is a bad idea. The point that I'm trying to make is that on a galleon, you have a really hard time interacting with people (that are on faster boats). Thus making galleons unwanted for pirates and RPers.
Oh, I do want people to be encouraged to go out and explore the wonderful waters of UO.
I also want people to be encouraged to invest in a large galleon. But speed beats anything at sea. Heavy cannons are useless if the prey is twice as fast as you. Also, the most experienced sailor on a medium...
Alright then. Let's consider all scenarios ;).
There are currently three main purposes to go sailing:
1. Pirating! You want to find people as quickly as you can. Also, you want to be able to chase people down. For this, I'd use my small classic.
2. Fishing up sunken treasure. You want to get to...
From a pirate's standpoint: why would you use a galleon if the small boats can outrun them?
In the previous system, you could also evade cannon shots from a galleon by skillfully maneuvering your way around them. Galleons are much bigger and harder to turn than smaller boats.
The first thing I noticed is that the extreme speed of the small boats really messes with your client. It's very clunky to move around while or after sailing.
Some errors that I found:
1. You cannot cross the server boundary anymore.
2. When you sail over a sinking ship, your ship also sinks...
