I still check out the Siege forums. It's cool to see a few odd souls return to the game from years and years ago. I have even lured quite a few here with a well timed PM or two !
@Leafy
I never had any luck talking Kat into coming here :)
I don't think I have ever seen a single person on this shard use a xbow so I'm not too sure about them being useful or not. However, I would love to see different weapons get some love to make them usable again. Gets pretty boring seeing every dexer running around with the same weps.
I agree. Those that don't like the idea of purple pots know they will get flamed when this question gets raised every few months.
However, couldn't they just have a gump pop up when you first use your account. Have a few yes/no questions of UOF hot topics such a taming issues, bola's, wands and...
I know it's game mechanics and shit...but this kinda sucks. People complain about getting pk'd by large guilds. To me luring and stealing meta pet's would be a bigger piss off than dying to a pk(s) and losing my lootz.
How about E) Without the risk of getting pk'd it takes away the risk element of UO and people will get bored. Maybe the main reason a lot of people end up here rather than just play the official shards.
Wow rage post lol.
Get off your high horse moron. I stated a fear that we may just see more griefers or even larger groups of reds. I am not part of EQMS. I have been here since day 1 and haven't seen the waves of reds except at IDOCS and champ spawns...exactly where I would expect to encounter...
Interesting. Wonder if this will just result in more griefing rather than pking. My guess is pk's will now roll in even larger packs and if no numbers will just grief players and loot kills or lure spawn. Least with a red coming I know what to expect.
Whatever happened to guilds or alliances bringing their own red's to defend the spawns from all comers? Maybe we could look at implementing the Justice skill and have protection at spawns to increase PS drops. Maybe some kind of formula where the protector needs to start the spawn and be...
Every shard I have played on the end game has always been about champ spawns. The guild (or alliance) that controls the spawns walks with the biggest swagger. UOF does a great job with keeping people interested in the game with new content, RDA's, meta pets, different expansions ect.
I get that...
Back on EA my guild loved to sneak out spawns. Most were raided but the times that weren't we were able to get great scroll drops. That was the fun of doing the actual spawns. You just never knew who was around the corner lurking or what was going to drop in your backpack. That's UO baby !
