You like RNG! You like it so much you're playing an 18 year old game that was built on RNG. A game that is so full of RNG I'm surprised opening doors doesn't require a dice roll.
I don't care if idocs are static or random, I'm just pointing out your delusion.
The answers are all here. It would shock me that this community is so adept at knowing what needs changing but we've all been playing this game for a long time. If we can't get archery changes that everyone wants and nobody is fighting then we know it's politics. Ain't no fix for that :P
Does Shane hate archery? Does he even play here?
Archery is terrible man. I will probably never go to Booty Island, I still use a bow though. If Booty Island is going to be a problem, change the rules there.
The problem with any discussion like this is how it breaks down into us vs them mentality. I'm coming from a philosophical point of view of how things could be. It obviously requires both sides to evaluate how they play the game, and what the effects of their actions are.
I think EA crushing...
Maybe you are right. We only had ICQ back then. No instant response to anything. We didn't have all these programs either, and UOAssist was in it's infancy. Perhaps it is a different game, and I have rose colored glasses on. I'm a dreamer but I'm not alone.
I fully understand the sentiment of...
This has nothing to do with EQMS.
What I'm proposing is far from a nerf. The factioners experience remains almost unchanged. Like group battles? Thats what factions were designed for. Yet I keep hearing that factions are dead or dying. Why is that if such large clans crave group battle so much?
That's true in certain games like Darkfall where everyone is in a clan. The focus was on clan battles because you could conquer player cities. In UO the focus is on the individual more than the clan, and it creates the problems I've spoken of. How many solo guys does your group kill a night...
There are people playing here who can vouch for me, but they will just be accused of being an 'alt' of mine. And their accomplishments don't need to be stepped on, by some dude who "doesn't remember them". I remember them, and they were kickass! It don't matter though, many of us played OSI in...
Wow
For a little perspective I'm sitting here trying to remember reds from GL. I can think of Ho Chi Minh and Bone Dancer... That's about it. It was a long time ago, and we're acting like those dudes that played high school football a long as time ago, and nobody cares.
I played GL for 7 years dawg. I was red, I was blue, I was red, I was blue, just like a ton of cats. Like I said it doesn't matter to anyone. As long as I know a little about what I'm talking about.
If it will lend some street cred I'm on this list. http://www.game-master.net/000326.html and this list http://www.oocities.org/timessquare/battlefield/Battlefield/3041/new.html which I'm amazed is still up! It's from 98 and I wasn't a Dread yet, I was a thief archer in 98. Had built up a...
I don't get ganked either. Problem is still there though. When I recall it's because reds are rolling 6-7 deep and it makes me sad panda. I can't fight that. If it were 1 or 2 fighting is an option on the table. There is no option here other than recall or die.
I did get ganked once. I still...
I'm actually a new player. Though I played Great Lakes long ago. I was a Dread Lord for quite a while. This shit is something I posted on OSI forums 15 years ago. Calm down
