Lost Lands are amazing. There are lots of points of interest to achieve (the Oasi, Therathan Keep, Ophidian Keep, the Lighthouse, the ruins, Titan Valley, etc). You can use them to spawn everything wild and powerful (and rares?) you can think about. They are (or could be...) a "no recall/gate"...
