120k an hour is definitely possible under this ruleset on a provoke char. I used to do that all the time back in the day on OSI servers. I could make more than 120k an hour taking a couple pack horses with me and hiding them but that was pretty high risk :)
This is the taming guide I wrote for the wiki

For whatever reason, the link on the main page redirects away from it fi you don't override that functionality.
I don't remember exactly what point I started doing great harts but...
I'm planning to buy one soon. I don't have the money yet. I'll probably buy max slots on both accounts eventually.
I didn't realize you could buy 2 slots on each account. That's great :)
Oh wow! Ok, that's one logical explanation that didn't occur to me.
I literally thought it was a bug in the code where the logic was flipped to make legitimate names illegal.
Any chance you will reconsider this policy and allow player names as pet names? IMO, anyone who would be offended...
I'm finding it nearly impossible to name pets anything short of a single letter because anything that even remotely resembles a name is disallowed by the filter. Either this is a bug (accidental reverse logic) or the developers here have a pretty aggressive stance on what is an inappropriate name.
The part that I think is an AI problem is the pet paces back and forth behind the other 4 until it decides to simply take 1 more step to be adjacent to the target. It will be 1 square away from the square that is adjacent to the target and then turn around and walk back to the other side; get 1...
I like using packs. When you have a pack of 5 pets they will not efficiently attack anything because the pet AI has a flaw that causes the 5th pet to pace around behind the pack for a few seconds before walking to the target.
I realize not a lot of people run packs (I know 1 other guy that...
I'm going to pm you because I'm looking to buy some PS (new here).
That said, I agree with OP. It's good for the game economy to create systems that allow people to consume PS in exchange for something
I'm familiar with that abuse and agree there should be a fix in place for that. I think the skill can be made useful without making it easily abuseable
I think the ideal way for the skill to work would be as follows:
1. Creatures herded to follow will follow at pet speed
2. Herd size limit...
I can mostly speak to herding from an OSI shard perspective because my stealth herder isn't done yet. Herding is difficulty based like taming but it operates on the use item timer instead of the skill timer. In short, you have to upgrade the creature you're herding as your skill increases and...
This. Also, the server rules make it so there are much more efficient ways to raise taming.
I wrote a taming guide for tthe UOF Wiki but for whatever reason it created a link to my guide on the guides page but didn't create my guide page. Maybe it has to be approved before the wiki file is...
On OSI servers an animal will follow the Shepherd indefinitely if the shepherd targets himself as the target to move to. On UOF the animal will come up to the shepherd and then stop following once it reaches the shepherd. Also, herded animal movement speed is REAL slow on this server. It's...
What about Protection and Arch Protection. Do they benefit from Inscription here?
I'd test it for myself but I just started here last week and I don't have a scribe yet.
Does Inscription give the 10% dmg bonus at GM that it gives on live servers? I'm pretty sure that dmg bonus dated back to this ERA of UO but some other things from that ERA are slightly different here.
on #4
Of course not. LOL I'm assuming you either mean memory injection or packet editing; both of which would definitely not be legal.
He's asking if it's legal to cheat :)
