2 things: 1) use teleporters to get in. and (2) any doors that you do have, make sure to secure them (lock them). Even if your house is private, someone can walk through an unlocked door.

I am GM Lumberjacking and bought a power scroll 105 so I now have 105 cap. Thing is, I can't get a single gain past 100. Pre-100, I could gain a full point an hour, now after 5 hours I can't even get 0.1 for a 100.1. Am I missing something? I've tried chopping trees as well as fighting...

I have maybe 500k gold total. a couple mil in items. So i guess middle class. I make money mostly in PvE and treasure hunting.... but still building the skills to higher end.

Assuming you decoded your map to the right run library number (which is a big IF), the rune library should put you right on top of the chest... or in some cases 1 tile off. I usually recall to the Rune spot, then move 1 tile north, and then dig to the south and 9 times out of 10 it works that...

Thanks. That definitely helps. But 1 thing I noticed which may sound a bit odd is Paralyze does actually give resist gains! I actually was just levelling magery on 1 character and resist on my 2nd account character with paralyze. It doesn't happen very often but I managed to get 10-12 skill...
